(MMVS)
Martha Mariam Vanitha Samajam is the organisation of the Church aimed at the spiritual development of all the women members. It is a group formed in name of St. Mary, mother of Jesus Christ.
SGIOC Essex MMVS is a small community which comes together in unity and coordinates prayer meetings regularly.
Mary said ‘Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord,may it be done to me according to your Word .

We as a group elect office bearers to run the day to day working and charity activities for the group.

MMVS Activities
The group comes together every Wednesday evening for a group prayer meeting.
Mostly there is a special prayer request, which gives us the comforting reminder that God answers our prayers and motivates us not to give up on prayer. For instance, it could be for a member of our church or a loved one who is in sickness or for a departed soul. Offering popular women’s necklaces such as pendants, chokers and chain necklace. Zonal & Regional MMVS Conference
The south zonal conference 2021 was successfully coordinated and hosted by SGIOC MMVS this year.
The focus of this conference was on Psychological aspect of motherhood. This conference generally happens in person but for year 2021 this has been conducted online via Zoom because of the Covid Pandemic.
Charity ActIvities
Our group also gets involved in charity activities and donates to the MMVS UK diocese level organisation so that the total funds collected from all the churches are used for charity at Diocese level.
